Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif replied positively to a letter from US President Joe Biden, saying that Pakistan values its relationship with the United States.

He mentioned that Pakistan wants to collaborate with the US to achieve common goals like global peace, regional progress, and prosperity.

Shahbaz highlighted that both countries have been working together on important projects in areas such as energy, climate change, agriculture, health, and education.

President Biden had congratulated the new government in Pakistan and stressed the enduring partnership between the US and Pakistan.

He assured that the US would support Pakistan in facing various global and regional challenges. This communication is significant as it comes after some tensions between Pakistan and the US in the past.

In his letter, Biden mentioned that the partnership between the US and Pakistan is crucial for global security and emphasized cooperation on health, economic growth, and education. He also mentioned initiatives like the ‘Green Alliance’ to strengthen climate resilience, support sustainable agriculture, and help Pakistan recover from floods.

Biden reaffirmed the US commitment to working with Pakistan to protect human rights and promote progress, aiming to strengthen the bond between the two nations.
