Pakistan celebrated Eidul Fitr on Wednesday, along with many other Muslim countries. Leaders expressed support for Gaza, where thousands of Palestinians have died during a six-month Israeli invasion. President Asif Ali Zardari said Pakistan stands with the oppressed Muslims of Gaza and Palestine. He urged the world to bring peace to Gaza and help Palestinians. He also assured support for Kashmiris in India.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also urged people to remember Palestinians and Kashmiris during Eid celebrations. He highlighted Eid’s message of unity and encouraged helping the less fortunate.

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Chairman of the PPP, emphasized sharing Eid joy with the needy and supported Palestinians and Kashmiris.

The armed forces stated Eid’s true spirit is in serving the country. They prayed for Pakistan’s peace and prosperity.

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq urged including the poor in Eid celebrations and expressed solidarity with Palestinians and Kashmiris.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan praised sacrifices of his party workers and prayed for Pakistan’s safety. He also supported Palestinians and Kashmiris.

Imran was quoted as saying: “I want to commend the sacrifices of our innocent citizens and workers, who laid down their lives for our Haqeeqi Azadi, as well as those who endure the burden of imprisonment, onslaught of vengeance, and face personal and financial losses with utmost courage and resilience.”

The PTI founder prayed for the safety and security of Pakistan and sought “patience, perseverance, and victory over both state and non-state criminals”. He also extended his prayers to “the people of Gaza facing genocide and the Kashmiris struggling against the ruthless Indian occupation”.

Reflecting on Ramazan, the ex-premier highlighted that fasting instilled “qualities such as patience, sacrifice, discipline and devotion to God, harmonizing Muslim society with the philosophy of Islamic life”.

Pakistan celebrated Eid along with several other countries. India and Bangladesh will observe Eid on Thursday.
